In initial brainstorms in the charbee discord, Charlie’s late Dad was revealed to be a Merman that decided to become human after falling in love with Mama Watson. Which makes Charlie unknowingly half mermaid. Which is why she is so good at diving and has an affinity for the sea in general (also inexplicably never gets pruny skin and great hair no matter how long she stays in thew water). Once she’s awakened her Mer side she can probably go back and forth from land and sea whenever she likes. Shut up i just want my babies to live happily ever after. Also, New Mers :D Decepticon!Mers Dropkick (Marlin) and Shatter (Lionfish) and of course some Autobot!Mers! Optimus (Blue Whale), Arcee (Sea Lion), Ratchet (Beluga) and Bulkhead (Sea Turtle).
