When the Angels were in the World Series against the Giants back in 2002, those thundersticks were a pretty newfangled thing. The Angels handed them out to fans at one of the games. At one point, an Angels batter (can’t remember who) hit the ball down the right field line - it was fair. Whoever was in right field for the Giants that day ran over to field it, and a girl who couldn’t have been more than twelve or thirteen hit him repeatedly with her thundersticks.
