He was an Icelandic orca captured in 1983. Tilikum originally resided at Sealand of the Pacific in Victoria BC. The orca at the park used to beat him up regularly. He was also deprived food. Soon after the birth of Haida’s calf at Sealand, the 3 orca at the park drowned a trainer. The orca had never had people in their tank before. Sealand was closed, and the orca were sent to SeaWorld parks.Tilikum lived at Orlando ever since. Tilikum was raked by the more dominant orca because he was submissive. In 93, he had a daughter with Gudrun named Nyar. Nyar was physically and mentally ill. Gudrun tried to drown her. She was placed with Tili, the two did well together. She died due to her illness years later. In 1999, a homeless person snuck into the orca tan and was drowned. It is unknown which orca had participated, but it is widely speculated Tili played a role. On Feb 24 2010, Tili became infamous when he killed Dawn Brancheau. The details of the attack are very gruesome. He was kept alone for the most part since.Tili became the most used orca sperm bank. He has diluted the captive gene pool, and SW is desperate for new sperm. He had an extensive history of being raised on the false bottom floors for semen collection.rules✖ No sniping.
