I was skeptical about the idea of a man being a public figure for radical feminism, but after hearing him speak at a book shop and reading his book “The End of Patriarchy, Radical Feminism for Men”, I’ve gotta say I’m a Robert Jensen fan.Big-picture thinkers (like myself) will enjoy this book, because in all of his individual points he keeps linking back to the broader question he poses: “what do we need to create stable and decent human communities that can thrive in a sustainable relationship with the larger living world?”The book didn’t present many ideas I hadn’t already heard from female radical feminists, but it still had a lot of value for me in that he explains things with such clarity and so persuasively, I’ve learned some new ways to explain the radical feminist worldview. It also has a lot of value as a “radical feminism 101″ manual; it explains the basic ideas of radical feminism in a way that is confrontational and uncomfortable, yet still persuasive and accessible, for men and women alike. I recommend reading it, noting down some of his most quotable passages, and then lending it to any man you can convince to read it.You can get it as an eBook or physical copy from Spinifex Press. -- source link
