She is often invoked in royal prayers for her powers of protection and healing, and her shrines are connected with charnel houses and mausoleums. Sometimes referred to as the “goddess of the underground sun”, her kingdom is described as a fortress with seven doors, where are buried bronze cauldrons in which the goddess of magic Kamrusepa, during sacred rituals, makes the wrath of the gods disappear. Whatever goes in can never come out. Lelwani is sometimes assimilated to the Mesopotamian goddess Ereshkigal. -- source link
