Let’s get this out in the open: university textbooks are a ripoff. This summer, I had one class that wanted me to spend $300 on textbooks. One class. If you buy your textbooks new, you could end up spending nearly $1000 a semester. That is insane, and if you’re like most students, you simply cannot afford it.Luckily, I have found that there are generally a lot of ways to get books free or at least cheaper. Here are the tips, and resources I use to spend as little on textbooks as possible. If you are going to university, please, please, please, bookmark this. It will seriously save your wallet.If there is an ebook, you can probably get it free. A lot of websites will offer pdf’s free. Booksee and BookZZ have been the most reliable for me, and have saved me a couple hundred dollars. You can also easily torrent most ebooks. If you don’t know how, please learn, because again, this will save you a lot of money.
