Roman wall paintings from an imperial villa at Boscotrecase. The first shows a landscape on a black background, and the second, supports with entablature also on a black background. Both are frescos and date to the last decade of the 1st century BCE. The details of these frescos are a bit hard to see but definitely worth checking out (especially the second one).
