I had a chance to visit the Museum of Flight in Seattle last week and learned about the over 12000 women who worked on building the B-17s during WWII. This was something i had read about before, they were collectively known as Rosie The Riveter. I didn’t however know about the African-American women who were also part of this group working for Boeing. -- source link
