This weekend I finished reading You, Me, Everything by Catherine Isaac. It was a sweet story about Jess and her ten year old son William setting off to spend the summer at the French chateau that Jess’s ex- and William’s father- owns. It’s a chance for William to finally connect with his father, despite his reluctance to give up his lifestyle just because his son is visiting. . The story was cute, but I never felt fully immersed in it. The characters weren’t written with much depth, which was so disappointing, because this story had so much potential for me. Set in the French countryside, with past lovers reconnecting? Right up my alley! I wouldn’t be the first to recommend You, Me, Everything, but I do think it has potential for other readers. Just not my cup of tea. . Do you have books like that? I’m not against it, but I didn’t love it kind of reads. . #bookstagram #ootd #outfitoftheday #coffee #mug #hmhome #bedroom #bedroomdecor #culturetripbooks #theeverygirl #theeverygirlathome (at Glasgow, United Kingdom) -- source link
