infriga:And there it is! This was my first time doing anything like this and honestly not only was it lots of fun, but the response was amazing! I was really surprised at how much people liked it. It’s a little late unfortunately, but that’s what I get for taking on something this big haha.I wanted to take on this topic for week two because for a long time Stanley didn’t have anyone he could look to to protect him. The authority figures in his life treated him like garbage, and no one ever spoke on his behalf or intervened. Not even when his teacher bad mouthed him directly to his family’s face. The fact that a teacher could speak about him that way to his parents without any hesitation is horrifying. It’s no wonder Stanley has self esteem issues.I went with the idea of using the tattoo because Ford would essentially be taking a scar that represents a particularly painful memory in their history, and turning it into a symbol of protection and family, mimicking their relationship in the show. You can’t erase the scars of your past, but you can change how you view them.I’m thinking I might start doing more comics in the future, since I ended up enjoying it more than I thought I would. Thank you very much for reading my comic!Part 1, Part 2 -- source link
