Six months ago Brian had been a super lean fitness enthusiast. He ran every morning, and lifted weights only enough to provide definition to his perfect body.When he and Ray had started dating, Ray had been pretty excited to be with someone so into fitness. That had worn thin after a few years together. What Ray realized that he really liked were supper built guys. Toned was fine, but big strong muscles were the best. Over the years, he realized that he’d honestly rather have more of a bear than a twink. He’d talked to Brian about maybe playing outside the relationship a little, but he was dead set against it. Ray constantly felt like he was having to choose between his emotional needs and his physical ones. Eventually he’d had enough.A buddy of his recommended a trainer to help out. Ray was skeptical at first, except that the trainer asked to interview HIM before he started working with Brian. The questions were similar to what you might expect from a trainer, except directed at someone else.“What do you want your guy to look like?” He asked.“I mean I like the way he looks, mostly,” Ray replied. “I just need there to be MORE.”The trainer smiled. “And how should he act?”“Act? Not sure what you mean by that. He’s fine. Sometimes a little boring when he drones on about the nuances of fitness and listen to me more, but I mean I’m not really sure what you’re asking.”The trainer just nodded without replying. After writing a few more notes, he looked up. “I think I have what I need. Have him reach out to schedule his appointments.”That night he presented the trainer as something he’d “won.” “I know you’re thinking about doing a marathon later this year,” Ray mentioned, “so I thought it would be better for you to use him than me. Could really help out in getting that time you’re looking for.”Brian smiled at his boyfriend. He really was a lucky man.When Brian first met the trainer, he gave him a couple ear pieces. He said he found his clients found better results if the music they listened to worked in line with the exercises they were doing. Brian was skeptical, but the music wasn’t too bad, so he didn’t complain. The trainer had him do a bunch of tests, gauging his stamina and strength. He took a lot of notes, but didn’t say much other than giving some basic directions on what to do next.The weights were kind of annoying, but he loved showing how long and fast he could run. The trainer didn’t give anything away though, just kept noting times, etc.At the end of the session, the trainer seemed to become more excitable. “I definitely can help you get what you need. And since your sessions are covered, we might as well make the most of them. Meet me here Monday, and we’ll get started for real.Brian started to hand back the headset, but the trainer waived him off. “Might as well use it when you run too. Just don’t forget to bring it with you to sessions so I can upload the new playlists for you.”The first few sessions were pretty standard. Again, there were a few more weights than he normally liked, but the trainer let him spend lots of time on the treadmill and similar machines, which made him happy. At the end of the first month, the trainer pulled him aside.“So I know you want to do marathons, but I want to let you know that right now that could be tough for you.”Brian was confused, so the trainer continued, “You’re just not packing in enough nutrients to sustain your stamina growth. You know how you hear about ‘bulking season’ and then ‘cutting season’? That applies to runners too. You need to do just a little bulking, and then when we cut you’ll be primed and ready for what you want.”Brian normally would have pushed back a lot, even with a skilled trainer, but he knew that he should follow along. The music had ensured that compliance long ago.So it was that Brian started light bulking. At first it was just a few hundred extra calories a day.Then he started running less and less so he could focus on building. The trainer assured him that he could run when bulking time was over.The next time his calorie count was upped he had a hard time finishing sometimes, but Ray was there. “Finish it” was all he had to say, and Brian would nod and shovel the rest of the food in his mouth no matter how little he felt he needed it. He’d had a hard time concentrating on much lately, so it was great that Ray and his trainer always seemed to be able to tell him what to do, and the music always made him feel better.His trainer must have noticed something off one day because Brian had a hard time answering a question that he felt he should know the answer to. The trainer laughed and patted him on the back, “No worries stud. You’ve slowed down a lot lately. Looks like your brain just wants to match your body’s speed.” Brian frowned knowing something sounded off about that, but Ray came up and told him it was time to go so he lost his train of thought.Brian mentioned that he was having a hard time concentrating to Ray, who seemed to understand. “You’ve been under a lot of pressure. I’ll help out where I can so you can focus.” Wow. Brian really was lucky. Ray started making most decisions for him. He didn’t have to think about what to wear or what to do most of the time at home so he could focus more normally at work.Ray also made sex more fun too. He would tell Brian how to pose and then he’d worship his muscles a lot before they had sex, which Brian started loving more and more.After six months, Ray and Brian were going out to celebrate their friends that had run the marathon. Brian was shirtless as per usual these days. Thinking of what shirt to put on was more effort than his brain could handle. Being there and seeing the other runners, he frowned. “Hmm. I thought I was gonna do that. When does bulking season end?” Ray handed his perfect man some fries and said “Its always bulking season for you, babe.” Brian nodded and smiled, taking a big bite of his burrito, cementing in place his new life for good. After a while, Brian became so submissive that his trainer needed to show his new level of compliance to Ray. Brian was licking his lips and muttering “what.. whatever you want me to do, babe..
