A little something I’ve been working on! I’m still kind of obsessed with the folklore surrounding Baba Yaga. So when @the_townsmith partnered with @myminifactory for a contest, I decided I had to try to tackle Baba Yaga’s iconic chicken hut. This is all done with @the_townsmith ‘s online software. It was developed to create playable D&D maps at mini scales. Kinda like kitbashing buildings with modular pieces. It compiles all of your information into printable stl files, broken down by floor. Then each floor can be separated into a playable room. Great for someone like me who struggles with architecture! My concept for this is a building that is growing organically. Each floor grows from the previous floor and gradually gets larger and larger. It’s something that if you ran into multiple times during a campaign, it could grow between encounters. Since my big printer is currently occupied, I’m printing a small scale version that can be encountered in a game (chicken legs to be traditionally sculpted). Later, I’ll print a full scale version that can be played. I like the idea of encountering the building as a character in the game, and then being transported inside (because obviously it’s bigger on the inside) to solve each of the levels. This is such a new and fun way for me to work with mythology, I can’t wait to play with it more! #digitalsculpting #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #townsmith #myminifactory #architecture #babayaga #mythology #folklorehttps://www.instagram.com/p/CLewzk-g0OO/?igshid=1kuxgf3flahal -- source link
