Been sitting on this one for a bit, too. A Studio Bones folder full of production art for a scene from Ep. 38 of Fullmetal Alchemist (the original 2003 series, not Brotherhood), entitled “With the River’s Flow.” Some of the outer and timing folder scans:From this folder, it looks like there were originally 37-ish sketch pieces comprising this scene, and I got about 25 of those in this batch. Obviously, they are not all complete art pieces, but still give a neat look at what goes into making even a short animated sequence. This is early in the episode, as Al and Ed argue about their plan and Ed’s stubbornness, resulting in some comedic alchemy fighting between the bros. This scene ends the fight, with Ed telling Al to “Shut up. Do whatever you want.” as he breaks free from Al’s ‘hand’-iwork and walks away. There are plenty more scans than I can fit into a tumblr post, of course, though. If you want to see the full set, they have been uploaded into my updated Photos anime cel gallery here.Scanned from: My Production Art Stash -- source link
