tackylampshade: Here’s the piece I made for @swimonzine, a charity zine for sharks put together by @jeypawlik! This is actually based on a very fond memory of mine from around age 12 - I was at a school camp on Catalina Island and one activity was a night swim. I remember having my face and goggles just barely in the water at one point during the swim to look around with my flashlight while the instructor talked and watching leopard sharks calmly wind around her feet. Her reaction was only a chill “Oh, so that’s what I felt.” So yeah, sharks are cool, and you can get some cool shark art while also supporting conservation efforts if you get the zine! https://gumroad.com/l/swimon4 Also, this’ll be one of my new prints at GeekGirlCon in October! -- source link
