An early piece, circa 1930s, meticulously crafted by hand. This bracelet with chain of heavily worked silver beads features well known “Los Cocos” design by Justo Castillo. In 1935 Spratling established the first competition for the silversmiths in the shop, and Justo “Coco” Castillo was awarded the first prize for his entry. The bracelet is marked simply Taxco, 980 - almost pure silver, and fitted with original hook and eye clasp. -- source link
