jukeboxemcsa: theconniek: bloofbloofbloof: Some hypnosis tips for people who can’t go into trance —— Twitter / Youtube Will always reblog this. This is all really good advice! Remember, just because a particular induction or technique doesn’t help you go into a trance state, that doesn’t mean you can’t be hypnotized. It only means that your brain processes information differently, and you might need something else to help you go under. Every person is different, and you just need to find what works for you! The whole myth of the “difficult subject” stems from a study where they measured individuals’ responses to an identical induction, and said that the 33% or so that didn’t go into trance were “impossible to hypnotize”. This is, as I’ve said in the past, roughly equivalent to trying the same skeleton key on 100 doors and deciding that 33% of doors are impossible to unlock. You might just need to find someone who’s got more keys on their ring… or better yet, a good set of lockpicks. ;) -- source link
