Went to see The Power of the Dog at the Paris Theater tonight. Afterwards there was a discussion director Jane Campion, cinematographer Ari Wegner, and producer Tanya Seghatchian. I have to admit. I didn’t like the movie. Personally I felt it was too obvious and the themes were too overt. Not sure if that’s the adaptation or the source material. And a drone shot does not a movie make. But it was good to hear from the creators.
