I’m taking part in the #tlfbodypositivechallenge 7 days of 7 positive things about your body. I’m realising how tough this challenge is which is making me want to change my views on myself and be more positive. I thought I was quite a positive person body-wise but this is making it clear to me that I am not as much as I would of liked to have been. Acceptance is part of loving ones self, and this is a good movement for me. Day 2. My breasts. I’ve actually come a long way to appreciate my boobs. I was always very boyish and small and up until developing some more mature curves was never really looked at twice by anyone which made me very self conscious. I used to try and buy the ultra padded lift bras but due to the shape of my breath usually compromised my modesty and things ‘pushed’ or 'popped’ out. Eventually with time, patience and the discovery of beautiful lingerie and styles of fashion that suited me I have come to admire what my small boobs will allow me to do, like not wearing bras so I can wear backless numbers and being able to enjoy soft cups. I came to realise that although my body had its own restrictions so did others, what I had others wanted, and vice versa, so I came to appreciate what I have. I am still trying to perfect my relationship as although there are many things I can pull off with what I have, others are entirely out of my reach but I am on my way to finding harmony.
