Lestat gets invited to some awards ceremony in the 2010s and is absolutely fucking delighted as the media loses their shit trying to figure out how this man who should be in his fifties still looks like he’s twenty (the going theory is that the record company keeps killing him off and replacing him with younger guys), and each time he’s asked Lestat just laughs and says “duh, I’m a vampire”. every now and then Lestat will get the singing bug again and pose as his own tribute act - and then when he gets bored of it Daniel helps him stage his own death. -- source link
