wearevintagevienna: Sonnenanbeter und Friedensaktivist Waluliso im Jahr 1987 auf der Kärntner Straße in der Inneren Stadt (© O. Prohaska Privatarchiv) Ludwig Weinberger, born 1914, was a bookbinder and travelling salesman. In his retirement, he became an activist for peace, disarmament and various local issues. His handle “Waluliso” is made out of the first two letters of the German words for forest, air, light, and sun. In the eighties, he was a common sight in the city center. He died in 1996. Two years later, a bridge he had promoted was built and named after him. -- source link
