#ShikigamiOrochi - Kumicho. An Orochi is not actually one serpent with eight heads; more like eight serpents that have coiled around each other in to a ball. Bound together, they use their combined powers to hunt other Yokai and harass stray worshippers. Considered dangerous to all, hunting parties of elite Onmyouji have been assembled to eliminate these creatures when they stray too close to a major shrine.——Both of the Orochi pieces took a really long time. Painting eight separate unique heads really drew out the time horizon, but it was worth it.Digital art book is on sale on my gumroad.
