#Shikigami Oni - Yokozuna. In an effort to push beyond their mortal abilities, some rikishi, wrestlers, have travelled to the realm of the Yokai to test their strength. If they can best an Oni in sumo style combat, the Oni has been known to serve as a Shikigami. If the Rikishi can accomplish this feat, they gain the title of Yokozuna, a master wrestler, and begin their career anew in the Yokai realm as a sanctioned Onmyoji.——This one is one of my favorite pieces from the series. I learned a lot about Sumo from this piece, and actually enjoy watching it a lot now. It’s way more nuanced than I initially thought!
