The Weird Sisters are BackAfter a long hiatus, their highly anticipated fifth album Gnome Cretin has finally been released! ‘This ’s our weirdest album yet,’ said lutist Herman Wintringham, while sucking on the end of a caramelised newt. The eight-member band has broken their ‘no featured artists’ rule with the track 'I Got Gnomes In My Garden (Cheeky Gits)’, in which Ginny Potter-Weasley sings a duet with frontman Myron Wagtail. Potter-Weasley, of Holyhead Harpies fame, supplies rasping yet precise vocals that certainly hold their own against Wagtail’s. Other highlights from the album include 'Blast-Ended Skrewt’, with its haunting polyphonics, and 'Baba Yaga’s New Pestle’, where drummer Orsino Thruston unleashes his tightest, rowdiest dynamic yet. More 21st century wizarding hereToday we our very first cross-post; follow the link at the bottom to another wonderful HP tumblr. I must say, the graphics are simply STUNNING.
