In three days, something is apparently going to be announced on the Pokemon website. Now, it could just be a legendary event or new dream world content, but I’m choosing to be optimistic and think that it’s going to be something more exciting. At this point there are three things that I think it could conceivably be. The obvious ones that immediately jump to mind are a Gen VI announcement (or one of the new Pokemon) or else a remake of Ruby and Sapphire. While both of those would be great, and having either of them on the 3DS would be outstanding, there is one other viable option that could be very interesting. I’m casting my vote now that it could be the long awaited sequel to Pokemon Snap for the Wii U. Using the game pad as a camera to capture images on the tv, coaxing Pokemon out of the grass with the stylus, uploading pictures for all your friends to see… They could even do away with the on-rails pathfinding of the first game and give us the freedom to explore off the track and search for more elusive hidden creatures. I’m happy with the current lineup of games for the Wii U, but this is one game that would make me feel like I’d truly made a good investment. Whatever the announcement ends up being, I’m excited for something new. -- source link
