wereshrew-admirer:a father’s day portrait, taken sometime between days 3 and 9 on the jade moon good morning i looked at this for three seconds too long and had the very ridiculous thought that duvall wouldn’t have known he was a dad yet on the jade moon and if chine is insistent on giving It to duvall (apparently in both versions of the scene) then their having thought fondly of duvall as a potential second parent isn’t that far fetched?? (and they answered my post mortem question but cut the “if chine was acting rationally on their beliefs, when did they decide raising It was no longer their purpose?” part out (i can understand why lol but i didn’t think they’d touch any of that question), so they had their chance to establish a different reason….) -- source link
