Your first order of business: stare in awe at our amazing new show art featuring our favorite not-quite a couple - Jeanine and Leo(h). THE CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN IS LIVE!!!!!!!!We’re initially asking for funds to cover the cost of performers, but I cannot emphasize enough how much every cent - especially past that initial goal - makes a difference! Everyone involved with the production of the show is being paid, but out of my/Atypical’s own pocket (because that’s how much I believe in this show!!!). So the season will be made regardless, but the more funds we raise, the less out-of-pocket strain!!! Especially since Tavi, our incredible creator/lead actress, deserves to be fairly compensated for her brilliance!!!! Any excess funds beyond our stretch goals go directly to her, not Atypical or me. This show is created, written by, and starring a Black woman, directed by a Black woman, produced exclusively by women, sound designed by a woman, and has lots of queer people in front of and behind the mic!!! Also, the show is just SO GOOD I literally feel like I’m funding fanfiction for myself it’s incredible. Anything you can give will have me mentally kissing you on the forehead/squeezing you into a hug/waving at you enthusiastically from a distance/dealer’s choice! -- source link
