not-xpr-art:The Lost Portrait of Kitty (from BBC’s Ghosts) ~(09/2021)Ok, so I’ve been wanting to draw Kitty since the show began, but I wasn’t really sure what kind of fanart I wanted to do. But after the last series where we got a bigger glimpse into Kitty’s life, I thought I’d create a painting of her done in an 18th century style. My thoughts behind this piece is that this was a fragment of a larger painting commissioned of Kitty and her sister. But after her death, her sister tore Kitty’s part of the portrait and threw it away… I know it sounds sad, but I like the idea of Alison and Mike finding the torn painting somewhere and having it properly restored and hung up pride of place on one of the walls, because it’s what Kitty deserves <3 -- source link
