Any food that doesn’t get sold at the end of the day has to be thrown out. It doesn’t matter if it’s still in the unopened wrapper, it has to be thrown out. If we take any of it home, any of what has now become garbage, it’s considered stealing from the store. We can’t give any of it away to the homeless either, because the food is considered expired, despite the fact that it all stays fresh well past the required two-day expiration date.This is a very forward-thinking company, except when it isn’t. -- source link
