I was happy to get a Feld game to the table last night. It had been a long time! We decided on The Gates of Loyang as none of us had played it. The game play was just “ok” for us. It seemed too limiting and didn’t maintain our interest. I scored fairly well and I barely obtained the first player position which seems to have been important? Halfway through the game, players had enough and wanted to pack it up. It was different compared to other Feld games but I don’t know if it is one that I will be keeping.
