Commission for the lovely twelfthofnovember! Her beautiful Exmoor pony is called Mull, which is also the name of an island island in the Inner Hebrides. I’m always a slut for Scotland and its majestic landscape, so here he is trotting through a scene inspired by the Isle of Mull itself. Technically he’s in front of a ‘View to the island Eorsa across Loch Na Keal to the mountains of Mull’, according to the ref source. Plus blue square. Because stylistically, he needed a blue square. Ohh man this was just so much fun to draw and I’m thrilled I had the opportunity to draw him! All that grass nearly killed my hand though but I’m fairly sure it was worth it.
