judgingeternity:siryouarebeingmocked:durkin62:Why white people? Why aren’t we teaching more black people it was a black guy who legalized slavery in America? Not to mention how rare slave ownership actually was, or how slaves were originally bought secondhand from other Africans, or about white “indentured servants”, or…Because much like black on black crime as soon as you acknowledge the culpability of other races in slavery, or how slavery exists still in this world at the hands of people who are primarily not white the narrative suddenly and very immediately dissipates. -- source link
