itsactuallymyadhd: adhdforlosers: iminthearmsofmorpheus: emmastudies:three steps to getting things done! Me, an intellectual (having ADHD): thinkplan……execute? Might be because I’m sleep deprived but this is the funniest shit I’ve seen all day People don’t realize that a lot of ADHD people can think & plan perfectly fine. It’s executing it that’s the problem. Once we actually do it, it’s done properly or even better. The REAL problem is just attempting to start it!! Depends on the task. If it’s something simple like brushing your teeth or doing the dishes, the problem is not planning or thinking, yes. But if we’re talking about something else, like a presentation, a group project, a journey etc. people with ADHD still struggle. We tend to think different than others, non-linear, we have problems to focus on what is actually important. What I’m trying to say is: executing is a problem yes, but planning and thinking with an ADHD brain might be difficult as well. -- source link
