janayaarmy: Welcome, to the very first Janaya Week.We are very excited to announce the following dates and details for the Janaya Week.PHASE 1 - SUBMISSIONSWhen?We can’t have a week without prompts, so the first phase will be dedicated to that specifically.We are opening our ask box for submissions of prompts starting NOW.Submissions will close on Sunday, January 5th at 11:59pm (PST)If you want to put your suggestion in a post, make sure to tag us in said post @janayaarmy​ and use the official tags for the event: #JanayaWeek and #JanayaWeek2020How?Submissions for the prompts suggestions can vary. You can send us an ask (anonymous or not) and your prompt will be added to the list.You can submit a post through our “Submit a Post” section.You can tag us, too! Just remember to use the right hashtags, or we won’t find them.What?Everything can be submitted.One word prompts are a go.Alternate Universes are a go.Crossovers are a go.We reserve the right to put together submissions that appear similar.We reserve the right to refuse submission if they are considered inappropriate.And by inappropriate, we mean this: no sexcist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist etc. remark/comment/submission will be tolerated.And finally, who?Everyone can submit their prompts, and there is no limit for prompt suggestion. PHASE 2 - VOTINGWhen?After submissions close, we will collect all the prompts and craft a voting poll that will be put out on Monday, January 6th 2020.At that point, people will be able to vote for their favorite prompts. (More details will follow).Voting will close on Wednesday, January 8th 2020 at 11:59pm (PST).How?We are still looking at details, but we are most likely going to use an external website for polling, so that results can be collected immediately and in an orderly fashion.Who?Once again, everyone can vote!PHASE 3 - PROMPTS REVEALWhen?The winning prompts will be revealed as soon as possible after polls close.You can expect them to come online on either Thursday 9th or Friday 10th.What?The prompts will be seven + one.Seven prompts will be released for each day of the Janaya Week.An additional prompt (the eight most voted one) will be released as a bonus for people who either lack of inspiration for one of the prompts, or want to try their hands at something additional, or feel the bonus prompt more than they feel one of the others… Countless reasons.The prompts will be released for them to be done in this order:Sunday 19th - 1st placeMonday 20st - 2nd placeand so on.And then what?Then, you lovely human and elves can get ready for the week, for our wonderful…PHASE 4 - JANAYA WEEK 2020When?As you probably grasped from our banner, our first Janaya Week will be starting on Sunday, January 19th and will end on Sunday, January 26th.How?Any submission should be posted here and/or Archive Of Our Own.The official tags for the event will be  #JanayaWeek and #JanayaWeek2020Every post should be tagged with those tags (together with the additional #JanayaArmy ) in order for us to find them and share them!Fanfictions, fan videos, fan arts… Everything is accepted.We will create a collection on AO3 (title and details will be revealed moving forward) for everyone who is using the platform and who wants to share their work there!Who?Everyone is allowed to participate.We ask that, if you are sharing NSFW work, to make sure you are taking the right precautions and use the correct tags and warnings. If you want to share NSFW work for the Janaya Week, make sure to use the tag #NSFWJanayaWeek so that people can blacklist it if they don’t wish to see it.Once again, we ask for people to be respectful and mindful of the rest of the fandom.Bullying, lack of respect and fights will not be tolerated.
