rainbowrowell: I HAVE AWESOME NEWS:As of today, you can buy stuff – posters, T-shirts and postcard art – inspired by my books Eleanor & Park and Fangirl on DFTBA.com. I’ve been looking for a way to let fan artists share and sell their work in a manner that also makes sense for me, as the author – and I’m so happy this worked out with DFTBA. The people at DFTBA really have their act together: They’re organized, they care about quality, and they really respect artists and creators. We tried to choose artwork that’s most popular with readers. The large-format postcards are kind of an experiment: The goal was to make smaller, more affordable prints, and to include more artists. So far, the DFTBA store features some of my all-time favorite pieces, with work by: Lauren Baldo, Simini Blocker, Valeria Bogado, Irena Freitas, Kady MacFarlane, Andrea Porretta, Mina Price, Risa Rodil and Leela WagnerI think I’m most excited to share Simini Blocker’s digital painting of Eleanor and Park kissing. (I wish there was a way to put a GIF on a poster.)Oh, and I love everything Risa Rodil does. Risa designed the “She looked like art” poster exclusively for DFTBA. I hope you find something you like! And if you have ideas for different merch you’d like to see, send me a note on Twitter. You can now buy my Eleanor & Park illustration as a postcard, along with a lot of other really great stuff by really cool artists! Do itttt -- source link
