onlymonica: Locked and Loaded The only reason I contemplated voting for Trump was a story I read that Hillary was going to take our hair dryers away. (I read it on Facebook, so it must be true). Well, that really got my dander up. I’m a fierce proponent of Second Amendment rights, and you’re going to have to pry my hair dryer from my cold, dead hands. Just don’t break a nail. Anyway, after getting all agitated about this, I checked the Second Amendment and discovered there was no language referring to hair dryers. I’m a constitutional structuralist, and figured if the founding fathers had meant to protect our right to bear hair dryers, they would have written it in the the Bill of Rights. (Note – I am not referring to ‘bear hair’ in the animal sense). Fearing the worst if Hillary won, I called the NRA and asked if they could start an effort to protect our hair dryers. They said if I made a sizable donation, they’d certainly look into it. Well, just as I was about to send them 1,000 smackaroos, I found out the story was a hoax. Imagine my surprise – a fake news story on Facebook. Who would have thought it possible? So, it seems the government may not be coming to get my hair dryer. But just in case, I keep it armed and ready on the ‘high heat’ setting. And when those jack-boot government thugs come into my bedroom, I will literally blow them away. -- source link
