For @thegoddessconference in Glastonbury this year I made these sacred Moon Maiden Bee pendants as gifts for my Melissa brothers & sisters. The Melissae are a hive of bee priests & priestesses who work to make the Goddess Conference happen, organising, carrying chairs, building fires, holding space, a team I’m proud to have been in for five years now! The shape of the pendants incorporates the moon as this years Conference centred the ‘Moon Maiden,’ as well as the sacred hexagon & the image of the Goddess, but each of the 30 pendants has a unique symbol etched onto it, the idea being that we are all one hive but still individuals within this shared space. I loved seeing which etch design my friends chose! Do you have a favourite? I chose the ‘Malin,’ a symbol from Sweden meaning needing to face struggle & setback to move forward. I really enjoyed making these, so if there’s interested persons I’ll make a variation on them available in my Etsy shop. Also feat. my chest hair. Whaddya think?
