Many people like to share only happy & perfect things on IG ; my many self pity posts show how I don’t follow this tendency today I am posting about some health & skin issue I’ve been having for quite some time & which got way worse the other week. I’ve always had a very sensitive skin, lipedema & nerves issues, it all got quite bad around my teenage years & never left me. The summer I went back to france before the pandemic I had a bad reaction to a medication prescribed by mistake by my family doctor & got herpes all over my tongue as far as I could tell. I got some counter medication but the damage was done. Then I’ve been seeing different doctors back in Japan for itching sensation & pain in my ear, which moves thorough my body & I got more pain and issues. Of course the medication I have to take for the endometriosis isn’t helping, so the fibrosis pain, lipedema pain and state. And let’s face it, for most French, we have a great healthcare system so we are harsh critics about it & most doctors aren’t what we would call doctors in my country. They are here for the money, refer to their patients as “customers” & don’t often become doctors because they want to help people & are good at it, but because it’s a family business. So when you go for a consultation as a foreigner with the language barrier it’s bad, they don’t care & see spending time explaining to you as loosing money. Not all are like that thankfully & sometimes you find a great doctor! So my body was fighting this bacteria attack that no doctors I visited took seriously as my symptoms got worse & it all went crescendo until the other week. I had a massive herpes attack as well as an atopic one. It left no skin untouched & each cm of skin is itching & disgusting (& here I was thinking my body couldn’t get more disgusting lol!) Japanese antibiotics are weaker than French ones so I am still not recovered but can’t get more of them. And I’ve ordered Lysine by internet because Japan doesn’t sell it (and maybe that’s why skin herpes crisis is so common here ??) but it’s gonna take a couple of weeks so I have to 我慢until.. when ?
