christinnevi: Oracle For this illustration, i took time to brush up my knowledge regarding runes and their magical meaning. I remember the first time i tried to understand the concept of runes i ended up being more confused because my sources were sort of superficially written. I eventually found this book about magical alphabets by Nigel Pennick that made everything clearer through this very phrase: Each rune encapsulates a certain aspect of existence which expresses part of the fundamental nature of the inner structure of reality.I even created my first bindrunes for this artwork. I definitely want to work with runes again. If you have any experience or advice, i’d love to hear it. -- source link
