daily-rayless:LukeTear Week Day 3: Yulia City / Geranium / True Friend This prompt jumped out at me because I do really like that Luke and Tear are friends. More than narrowly being a couple, they’re partners on the battlefield, at times they’re a mentor and a student, and they’re close friends. In some stories, the love interest and the hero only relate to each other in romantic scenes, in romantic ways. It saves time in writing, it helps distinguish that relationship as unique, but it feels less satisfying to me. While Luke’s and Tear’s romance does eventually run through their interactions, I like that they continue to relate to each other in a variety of ways.They’ve both had hard, lonely lives. Friendship has to be just as valuable to them as romantic love. -- source link
