There is a poster sale on in college at the moment. I saw this on my lunch break and thought it was beautiful. I almost bought it but decided against it (pretty broke right now) and went back up to the library. Before I started work I thought I’d check tumblr. What pops up on my feed, but this! Weird eh? Turns out it’s Almond Blossoms by Van Gogh! Now, I know NOTHING about art. But there’s just something about this… I think I will buy it tomorrow. Botany fact: almonds are not true nuts, technically they are “drupes”. Culinary fact: marzipan is made of almonds. Om nom nom. -- source link
