San Francisco and Napa, CA - Thanks Lauren (and Josh) for such a great visit after so many years. It was a delight seeing so much of the California sun with you, eating good food and drinking good wine. Listened to your boyfriend Josh rave about the chicken and waffles at the Fremont Diner in wine country and then actually wanting to rave about them myself after eating them. Saluting (with a handstand) the San Francisco skyline from your favorite vista and driving the windiest road in America. Dipping my toes into the Pacific for the first time and officially crossing the country for the first time. Making our own surf’n’turf with a mushroom risotto, fresh greens and chocolate avocado mousse for dessert with raspberries on top. I loved wine country California. I’ll definitely come back someday soon! But please, in the mean time, come visit in New York! And Brandi, it was great getting some coffee down in Fisherman’s Wharf. Funny how we met down inside of the Grand Canyon, again accidentally at a gas station, and deliberately in San Fran. The best thing about roadtripping are the people you meet along the way!
