Las Vegas: Erotic Heritage Museum celebrates 5th birthday The Erotic Heritage Museum, one of Sin City’s decidedly sinful attractions, celebrates its fifth anniversary Sept. 28 with what promises to be an offbeat party. Exotic belly dancers, the rough-and-tumble Sin City Rollergirls (of roller derby fame) and a body painter will be among the cast of characters joining forces to raise money for the museum. Admission is $5. Guests are urged to come as they are, provided their attire is what a news release calls “street legal.” Partygoers will be among the first to see the museum’s newest exhibit, “Sex Behind the Iron Curtain,” which opens the same day. It’s a collection of more than 900 pieces of erotic art created by Alexander Szekely of Hungary during the decades of Communist rule. Given the political climate in Eastern Europe at the time, Szekely’s art was created and circulated clandestinely. The Erotic Heritage Museum is near the Strip at 3275 Industrial Road, Las Vegas. It’s open Tuesdays-Sundays and regular admission is $15. Source: Jay Jones, LA Times Will we see you in Las Vegas on the 28th? -- source link
