some of my favorite shots from 2018, when i visited a Christian retreat my family used to stay at every year when i was a child. even as a kid i could tell that the place is saturated by all the prayer and worship that goes on there; it’s truly a peaceful place.i was thinking recently that even if i had a job cleaning the retreat houses, it would still be enjoyable because of how i love this place. that reminded me of Psalm 84:10, “A single day in Your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked.”Heaven is such a place of beauty and peace and joy, that if all you did the whole day was open doors for people, it would be the greatest experience you ever had. God’s love radiating the atmosphere, the magnificence of the nature and the dwellings there.. Just being a door keep would be so much more than anything a billionaire could offer you. “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in Me. There is more than enough room in My Father’s home. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?
