Before the age of GPS’s and smart phones, people relied on actual maps for gettin’ around. My parents kept these old map books of New Jersey counties, and each page brings something to mind. On the left is a map of Somerset county, which immediately makes me think of deer. Deer everywhere. And on the right, the map includes NJ’s Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge. The Raptor Trust, a wild bird sanctuary, is located there – so a hawk seemed fitting. Now up on Etsy! -- source link
