I was musing on the concept of a team of magical girls based on the four humors, until I realized I could just draw this.For this one, I tried to strike a balance between the sparkly magical girl design philosophy and a more subdued, sophisticated wizard aesthetic. So I used the same palettes as I did for the four humors banners, just brightened them up a notch.I was particularly inspired by later gens of Precure for the outfits here. Kinda shows in the hair as well… I also brought in some Tudor and Victorian influences.I also did my best to portray their respective personalities– or “temperaments,” as you might say– through their poses and expressions. -- source link
