Hello & welcome back @datekg36 members after the looong holiday! Today, @paulleeman shares our @jpcc’s monthly theme: #OVERFLOW, summarizing the insights from last week’s services at both The Kasablanka & UpperRoom. #swipeleft ⬅️ . . Contrasting how the world perceives living in the overflow vs. how Jesus wants us to perceive it, helps us to understand the concept of living in the overflow, in which #1 The key is to #feel that what we have is #enough. The world teaches us that unless you live in overflow, then you’ll never feel enough. But the Jesus way is the other way around! When you decide to feel enough, then you’ll live in the overflow. How exactly can we live in the overflow? #2 Truly living in the overflow requires #learning; it is not given because we are born in the world where we must go with its flow. “Not that I speak from [any personal] need, for I have #learned to be content [and self-sufficient through Christ, satisfied to the point where I am not disturbed or uneasy] regardless of my circumstances.” Philippians 4:11. What will we experience once we live in the overflow? #3 The #direction of our lives will be from inside out; we are no longer bound with what we have in order to give others blessings, #4 We put others first before ourselves, & we enjoy #giving more than receiving (Luke 6:38), Finally, once we live in the overflow, what will we feel every day? #5 We are no longer worried about the future, nor we see our present as only means to achieve overflowing life. Instead, we #enjoy our #present, because we have #faith in God for our #future. . . #jpcc #jpccdate #datekg36 #datekelapagading36 (at Kondominium Menara Kelapa Gading) -- source link
