No. No. No. No. No. No. People here on tumblr like to pretend they’re all ~*open minded*~ and no one’s racist or sexist or whatever but this is a fucking shitty thing to say. Not all Christians are against homosexuality. It’s fucking disrespectful to use the Bible as a plate when that is sacred to some people. I don’t fucking give a rat’s ass if you’re not religious, you need to start fucking realising that religion isn’t inherently bad. There are lots of Christians who are pro-LGBTQ or are LGBTQ themselves and you need to respect them as well and not lump an entire religion into the Westboro Baptist Church. God I could have written all that better but I’m just so fucking pissed off right now I can’t even argue this. THANK YOU SO MUCH also i gotta say two things anyone pulls this with the qu’ran, tanakh, or even “the god delusion”, this site would be incesed so try a little equal opportunity etiquette that would PROBABLY NOT BE GOOD FOR THE MICROWAVE OR THE PIZZA THANK YOU! and what they just said is true. I’m sometimes afraid to admit that I’m Catholic because of the bashing I might get because of it. There are so many different types of people on this site (including Christians) and you need to respect that. It’s not the book’s fault you can’t get married, anyway. It’s your damn government! Let me make it clear that I’m not christian myself, I am atheist however I’m not one to knock religion. But still, its a fucking joke. For one, where do you see the microwave actually being active? The doors open for Christ sake. For two, its clear the pizza is cold so its hardly gonna get greasy or anything. But thats just pointing out the obvious facts as to why its childish your whining over it in the first place.Now lets get serious. Like i said already, its a damn joke, maybe you’ve heard of them, y'know, the thing that’s meant to be funny? Like one of the above comments said, if you did this with any other religious text, you wouldn’t be so butthurt about it, so why suddenly become so defensive about your own? Your making yourselves, as well as the religion look childish. I’d also like to comment on someone where they say ‘Its not the books fault you can’t get married, anyway. It’s your damn government’. Well this is true and false. Its true that plenty of governments are so shallow minded about it, however even places with accepting governments, you still get the churches who refuse to give gay marriage. So perhaps that person lived in one of those areas. Don’t tell us to think before posting when you clearly need that lesson too. -- source link
