Uta Frith (b. 1941) is a German developmental psychologist who currently works for the institute of Cognitive Neuroscience at University College London. She has undertaken pioneering research into autism and dyslexia.Her doctorate focused on pattern detection in autistic children, and further research argued for the theory of mind deficit in autism. She is one of the creators of the Sally-Anne test, which measures a child’s cognitive understanding. Additionally, she is an advocate for the advancement of women in science, and has co-founded the UCL Women’s Network. -- source link
