The Peugeot WR LM93 was the first racecar to ever compete in the LMP class, and was effectively the first Le Mans Prototype. Being one of only two competitors in its class (its only competition DNF’ed), it placed 1st (in class) in the 1993 24 Hours of Le Mans, and competed again in 1994.
