This Nissan 300ZX, whose origins lie in the IMSA Camel GT series, finished 5th overall in the 1994 24 Hours of Le Mans; leading a large pack of Sports Prototypes and factory efforts through the race. It finished right ahead of the Type-935 powered Kremer K8 driven by five time Le Mans winner Derek Bell. Its twin-turbocharged 3.0Litre VG30DETT V6 pushed anywhere from 600 to 750 horsepower, depending on its setup; it weighed in at 1200KG, and was considerably slower around the corners than most prototypes. However, its reliability was pristine, and it managed to outlast a good majority of the field—its consistency also played a part in its finish. -- source link
